Small, Manageable Projects

For decades, proposed solutions for St. Paul’s were structured as massive, all-at-once projects that required excessive Village debt and tax hikes. In contrast, the St. Paul’s Landmark Society aims to fund long-term, proactive preservation of both the building and its grounds through small, manageable projects—protecting the historic site without placing a financial burden on residents.

As a philanthropic organization, the St. Paul’s Landmark Society has no interest in a managerial or conservancy role with St. Paul’s. Instead, the Society strongly advocates that the St. Paul’s landmark and campus be solely owned and managed by the Village of Garden City.
